These "Made in France" iconic objects are as deeply embedded in the French collective memory as Proust's famous madeleines. Their emotional resonance and timeless success have cemented their central status in the lives of French people, as well as being the overseas ambassadors for France's innovations for decades.

To pay them a well-deserved tribute, La Vallée Village in partnership with Les Editions de La Martinière, a French publishing house and its book “Objets Estampillés France” was presenting a selection of these legendary items that, be they daily necessities or luxury goods, have become stars in their own right.

The “Objets Estampillés France”’s book authors published by Les Editions de La Martinière:

“We chose to showcase these objects, real French “celebrities” in themselves, success stories, full of history, on a white and neutral backdrop so as to reveal their genius, functionality, timelessness and to celebrate their own individual identity, modest or luxurious, fun, graphic, practical, inventive, elegant, ingenious…”
Christine Fleurent et Véronique Méry.

Christine Fleurent, a still-life photographer, is interested in the art of living and more specifically in the objects. She works regularly for the press and advertising and has published many illustrated works at Editions du Chêne (La cuisine des parfums, Les Promenades de Chopin, L’Album George Sand) and Aubanel-La Martinière (La grande Histoire des arts de la table, Serres des jardins botaniques d’Europe, Cabinets de curiosités).

Véronique Méry, designer and creator, works with various decoration magazines such as Côté Ouest, Coté Est and Marie Claire Idées.
